Next Meeting: 

*Sidney Camera Club Season Opener: 6:00- 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 8th. The Sidney Camera Club will kick off the 2026-27 club year with an informal reception at the Mary Winspear Centre from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

*The first meeting of the Sidney Camera Club’s 2026-27 year will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at MWC.

2026 CAPA Coast-to-Coast Photo Walk, and Location Shoot, September 19th: 

The Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA) is thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual 2026 CAPA Coast-to-Coast Photo Walk, happening all day on Saturday, September 19th. As part of this national event the Sidney Camera Club invites both members and non-member photographers of all levels to join in a two hour walk through Sidney to the waterfront for street photography and sea-side shots to capture images of our beautiful hometown to share with others across the country. The walk will begin at the Mary Winspear Centre at 3:30 pm and end at the bandshell at the waterfront at 5:30 pm.

Competitions:

SEPTEMBER COMPETITION: Just a heads up that our first theme competition in September is Nature/Wildlife. Competition is now open on the website so get your cameras out and start clicking! The closing date for submissions is September 11th.

SPAC: Artist's Point of View: Competition is open.
Closing date October 13th.
