Every year the club holds a competition to present ten photos to the SPAC artists for consideration. They choose one image, of the ten offered, as inspiration to create their own interpretation of the subject in their chosen medium: painting, pottery, wood-works, fabric, glass, etc. The original photo that inspired the art is there. The artist's various interpretations of the image are a fascinating study in creativity.
