A bit about our club:
- Twice Monthly Meetings
Regular meetings are twice monthly, on the second and fourth Tuesday, at 7pm from September through June. Our club year begins with an in-person meeting on the second Tuesday of September. Most club meetings are in-person at the Mary Winspear Center in Sidney. You can find us in Room 4. Some gatherings, however, are on Zoom, when the program presenter cannot be in the room.
- Programs
feature guest speakers, presentations, workshops, and travelogues.
- Location Shoots
with social lunches are held each month. We are always looking for ideas from our members for photo opportunities.
- Competitions
There are monthly themed Competitions, as well as a number of "Special Competitions" throughout the year. All competitions are judged by qualified judges, giving insight and suggestions to improve your images. Our members also vote for the "People's Choice" award for each competition.
- Social Events
We meet for coffee every week on Wednesday mornings, even in the summer, when our other club activities are semi-dormant. Check the Calendar for time and place. Non-members are welcome! We enjoy a summer BBQ and Christmas Party as well.

Full website access is granted once your membership is approved. You will be then be able to log into this site to post photos to our galleries for sharing, to access club resources, and to participate in regular theme and special competitions. Members receive a weekly email newsletter with information about the clubs current activities. Membership is required to access most of our website and online activities. * Our active membership year runs from September through to August.
Potential new members are also welcome to attend any of our in-person meetings during the season, with no obligation or fees for your initial two visits.
Returning Membership:
The annual membership fee for existing or returning members is $75 for the 2025/2026 year.
New Membership:
For new members only:
The initial yearly membership fee is pro-rated as the year progresses.
Sep, Oct, Nov = $75
Dec, Jan, Feb = $50
Mar, Apr, May = $25
June, July, Aug = no charge

Membership fees can be paid via e-transfer to sidneycameraclub.ca@gmail.com Please include your name and what the e-transfer is for in the e-transfer notes so we can apply it correctly.
